The “Handwerk verbindet” project supports you step by step in entering the construction sector. At the beginning, you can attend a non-binding information session to get informed and gain initial insights.
Your path through the project
After that, you prepare for everyday working life over the course of around 10 weeks: you learn German for daily life and the construction site, gain practical experience, and get insight into the profession through a one-week internship. This helps you find out which path in the skilled trades suits you and what your next steps could be.
Language & orientation
You improve your German and learn the most important terms for everyday life and the construction site. This helps you communicate more confidently and work more effectively.
Hands-on training at the Lehrbauhof
You work hands-on and get to know tools and processes. In doing so, you gain your first experience and skills for everyday work on site.
Internship in a company
Through a one-week internship, you gain insight into real day-to-day work. This shows you what construction work is really like.

Precision and basic measuring techniques are practiced. Step by step, fundamental tasks are carried out.
