Start your career with an apprenticeship
An apprenticeship in Austria is more than just training – it’s a proven path to a secure and self-determined career. This opportunity isn’t just for young people – it’s also ideal for adults looking to make a fresh start through continuing education.
Choosing an apprenticeship in construction or the skilled trades means combining hands-on work with in-depth expertise. From day one, apprentices gain valuable experience and become part of a real company team. That builds confidence – and opens up real career opportunities.

One of Austria’s biggest advantages: strong collective agreements.
They ensure fair wages, regulated working hours, and clear recognition of your achievements. Completing an apprenticeship gives you a head start – with higher entry-level salaries, better career prospects, and the chance to keep growing professionally, whether through advanced qualifications, a master craftsperson certificate, or even a future degree.
Especially for career changers, an apprenticeship offers a real opportunity. It brings stability, opens new doors, and takes you step by step toward your professional goals – no matter where you’re starting from.
